What Made You Start Writing?

I never thought of being a writer and I never wanted to be a writer.

I felt the writing thing was just so stressful and boring. You sit down and pen down what is in your mind or an idea that comes to your mind.

Why?

Woosh, I rather speak than write.

So, I felt that writing was never my thing.

Many times in the past, I had a lot of ideas and content within me but I would just let it slide.

I was never in love with writing.

But one day, I just thought about the books I’d read. If not written, how would I have had access to such knowledge or the mindset shift?

These people might have never wanted to be writers but they needed to share what they knew in a written format for others to learn.

Some of them are already dead but we are still learning from them.

I also asked my friend who is a writer.
“What made you start writing?”.

He answered, “I write because that is the best way for me to express myself.”.

He added, “I also write to relate with people who share the same thought as I”

These things made me consider writing, even though it has never been a hobby.

I always feel someone needs to hear what I have to say.

The very content lingering in my head was never meant for me alone but someone out there.

Since I started writing, I have seen positive reviews from people who appreciated the content I have shared.

I am glad I took the journey of writing and I always love to share what I have with people.

What keeps me going as a writer is the fact that the very content I need to share is not just for me but for someone out there.

So, I must keep sharing as it comes.

All that matters is for me to put it all out there in a simple and relatable way and someone will, one day, be blessed by it.
