Visibility Is Important

She asked me…
“Sir, what skill can I learn that would fetch me lots of money?”

I laughed and said to her, “This is a question you can simply type on Google and get answers to the top 10 Skills you could learn in 2022 that would make you a millionaire.”

You see, it is not about having a skill but it is about knowing how to use that skill to make money.

You can learn any skill and you pursue your passion, but you need to understand how to make money from it.

There is always a business side of everything. If you know how to do something, the business side is where the money is.

I asked her again.
“Is there anything you can do that is a skill already?”

She said, ”Yes! I write. I have written quite a lot of Articles.”

“Ooooh Wow! Where are the articles?” I asked.

She replied, “They are at home sir. My sister has seen them. I can show you tomorrow.”

I said, “NO oooh, I don’t need to see them. You see all those articles you have written, just come and put them online.”

You can’t know where you are going until you start somewhere.

It is so funny to know that some people already have a skill, but they are still hidden.

Please, what are you hiding for?
Don’t you want to make money?

It is not about mastering a skill; It’s putting yourself out there consistently and showing them what you do.

How would you say you are a writer but your friends don’t even know about it?

You don’t even have an online presence but you have your phone with you.

NO MATTER HOW LOCAL YOUR VICINITY IS, IF YOU HAVE A PRESENCE ONLINE, YOU CAN GO GLOBAL.

Always put yourself out there and let everyone know what you can do and what you can offer.

Where I am from, you have to make noise to make money.

If the best is hidden, then the noise maker is the one who’s chosen.

Before you start thinking of a skill to learn that will make you money, start building your online presence and letting people know what you already have to offer.

It is people that would give you money not spirits.

So, keep showing up, keep pushing, keep learning, keep growing… people are watching.
