I remember when I found this little princess. It was on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at exactly 1:48 pm. She was with a woman that was sitting close to our church gate.

This woman was the child\’s mother.

Yeah! I know you didn\’t expect that. πŸ˜‚ You like stories too much. πŸ˜‚

I\’m someone who loves babies a lot and I like to carry them. I love having that posture of care and anytime I carry a baby I feel that way.

I always feel like… I\’m carrying a precious gem that needs to be guarded or an egg that is fragile to the touch πŸ₯Ί.

When I carried this little princess, I told my brother to take a picture of us. He said, β€œShe is not going to look at the camera; she is still a baby.”

So I tried my best to guide her to look at the camera. At first, she didn\’t oblige and kept looking at me.
Finally, I made her look by turning her several times and pointing toward the camera. In the middle of my efforts, I noticed something.

Her eyes weren\’t on me anymore. I failed to realize her looking directly at the camera lens until I saw this picture later.

Her face in the picture displayed something called LASER-FOCUS.

She had taken her eyes away from every other thing to continue gazing at the camera. She did not move and remained focused.

Being LASER-FOCUSED is one thing we, as human beings, need to achieve our goals. We need to fix our gaze on the goal.

Locking our eyes on the prize and neglecting every form of distraction that may affect us from reaching it.

Many start the journey of life but get carried away. It’s not that they lack focus but that they lacked LASER- FOCUS.

As of today, I challenge you to keep your gaze fixed on your goals similar to how a laser makes precise cuts due to its concentrated beam. You should be focusing on achieving your dreams, goals, and objectives regardless of what life throws at you.
